CityTimeHub ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use our website (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

CityTimeHub does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for personal information such as your name or address. Most of our features run entirely in your browser. We do not operate a separate analytics service on the website. Advertising partners (see below) may collect limited, non-personal information automatically when ads are served.

2. Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to remember your preferences (such as your theme choice and recent comparisons). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

3. Cookies

We and our advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies on the website to display ads and measure their performance. The native Android app does not load website advertising scripts. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

On the website (outside the Android app shell), we use Google AdSense to display ads. Website advertising scripts do not load inside the Android app WebView.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

5. Mobile App (Android)

Our Android app, Time and Prayers (package com.citytimehub.app), presents this same Service inside a secure in-app browser. In addition to the above, the app may process the following:

  • Ads (Google AdMob). The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads. You can reset or delete the advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads) or at Google Ads Settings.
  • Location (optional). If you choose "use my location" for prayer-time reminders, the app requests approximate (coarse) location. It is used only to calculate prayer times for your area — sent to our prayer-times provider (AlAdhan) and, to resolve a place name, to OpenStreetMap. Your location is not stored on our servers. You can instead choose your city by name without granting location, and you can revoke the permission at any time in your device settings.
  • Notifications. If you enable prayer-time reminders, the app schedules them on your device and may register a Firebase Cloud Messaging token to deliver reminders and occasional service updates. You can turn notifications off at any time from your device's notification settings.
  • City pulse & weather. The Service may show a live "city pulse" line with weather and day length for a selected city. Weather is fetched in your browser from Open-Meteo using the city's coordinates. Results may be cached briefly in your browser (about 15 minutes). We do not store this on our servers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights over your personal data, including access, correction, and deletion. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings. To exercise other rights, contact us at contact@citytimehub.com.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on trusted third-party data providers (for example, AlAdhan for prayer times, Open-Meteo for weather in city pulse, and sunrise/sunset data). These providers may receive your approximate location or city coordinates to return relevant results. Google provides advertising on the website (AdSense) and in the Android app (AdMob). We do not control third-party privacy practices.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision.
